Recent MetaTrader (MT4) Platform Outage

A recent outage impacted a small portion of our clients trading on the MetaTrader (MT4) platform. The affected servers were ACYFXLive-01, ACYFXLive-02, and ACYFXLive-03. This issue occurred at 10:00 am GMT+10 Sydney time on 27 June 2024.  Services were fully restored by 01:30 am GMT+10 Sydney time on 29 June 2024.

The root cause of this issue was identified as a problem with the MetaQuotes Servers. We understand that such interruptions can be disruptive, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused. It is important to note that all other trading services remained fully operational during this time. The MetaTrader 5 (MT5) platform was 100% functional, and this issue was isolated to only a small portion of our global clients on the MT4 platform.

Our technical team worked diligently to resolve the issue and restore full service as quickly as possible. We immediately notified affected clients and ensured our team was on hand to manually assist with trades on behalf of our clients.

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of service for our clients. To ensure optimal server conditions and prevent similar issues in the future, ACY Securities will be implementing server migrations this coming weekend. These migrations are a proactive measure to enhance the stability and performance of the trading platform.
