Michael Moran

Michael Moran is our Senior Currency Strategist and has over 40 years' FX experience, including running FX trading desks for some of the largest banks in the world.

His career has seen him work with Lloyds Bank in Hongkong, Manila, Sydney, and Tokyo, plus Commonwealth Bank & National Australia Bank to name a few.

Moran's passion is in FX commentary and actively trading the emerging currency pairs. His interest in the emerging FX markets was fuelled when he was asked to head the newly built Asian and Emerging Market portfolio for NAB Sydney back in 2000.

Most recently, Michael has provided daily written FX analysis and market insights for several prominent FX brokers, allowing traders to gain clarity with their trading decisions.
